Statement regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Thursday 19 March 2020

COVID-19 continues to present a significant and evolving challenge to the entire world. As a result, Hartpury is cancelling all equestrian competitions and events until 1 July 2020.

The NAF Five Star Hartpury Festival of Dressage (1-5 July), NAF Five Star Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular (14-16 July) and NAF Five Star International Hartpury Horse Trials (12-16 August) continue to go ahead as planned at this time. We will monitor the situation closely in the weeks and months ahead.

As of 19 March, Hartpury also remains fully committed to the FEI Dressage and Eventing Championships for Young Riders and Juniors set to take place from 27 July - 2 August. As such, the organising committee encourages all athletes to continue to prepare for the championships where possible, while respecting the guidance and laws of their respective country.

We'll work closely with the relevant national governing bodies and the FEI, incorporating advice from Public Health England and the World Health Organization. The safety of owners, competitors, officials and spectators remains our top priority and we will continue to monitor the situation carefully.

Together, we must unite in our fight against the virus and do all we can to show solidarity and support for all those affected by this unprecedented crisis. We will continue to issue updates in the coming months as any developments arise. Keep up to date with all the build-up to the championships on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
