Karl Robins rounded off day two of the NAF Five Star Hartpury Showjumping Spectacular by taking victory in the final class of the day - the Baileys Horse Feeds National 1.40m Open.

10 of the 13 starters jumped double clear rounds making for an ultra competitive jump-off. Robins managed to shave off 0.10 seconds (41.11 secs) from his nearest rival Alice Watson with Nanuchka Van Berkenbroek Z (41.21 secs).

Stuart Harvey and Tiger Lily X took the final prize money spot finishing in third (43.93 secs).

The penultimate class of the day, the NAF National 1.30m Open attracted a bumper field of 46 starters. 14 starters managed to jump a double clear around a twisting track that set the perfect challenge under the late afternoon sunshine.

Laura Mantel and Glory B V looked foot perfect from start to finish, stopping the clock on 35.44 secs in the jump-off and securing a clear victory over Hayley Lorraine Webster and LK Rocky who finished with a jump-off time of 37.47 secs. Efficient turns and taking a stride out in a tricky line paid dividends for Mantel who has had a number of rides at the show so far.

Elsewhere, Alice Watson and Control Z won the Senior Foxhunter - First Round, and Charlotte Pudge and Cassinaro Dream won the Senior 1.20m Open.

Ryan Lockwood and For Gold I looked to be in superb form with a win in the Equitop® Senior Newcomers First Round while Laura Mantel and showed her good form early on with a win for Labatt in the 6 Year Old Hartpury Qualifier.

The 5 year old Hartpury Qualifier was won by Laura Jackson and Cosmic Girl III.

The 4 year old Hartpury Qualifier saw multiple combinations go forward to the final on Wednesday.
